Dubai, as wonderful and beautiful as it is, has a reputation for being extremely expensive. Some of the wealthiest people in the world live there, and they have come to expect the best in all they do.



But unless you happen to be an oil tycoon yourself, I recommend checking out some a hotel that will still offer the best of Dubai without having to fork over hundreds of dollars per night.



Even budget hotels there hold a high standard for cleanliness, service and elegance.



The first hotel I recommend is the Highland Hotel. This hotel is located in the heart of Dubai and is the perfect place for cost conscious tourists, business and lesiure visitors. From the Highland Hotel, you are still able to see the Arabian Sea!



The second cheap hotel in Dubai is the New Penninsula Hotel. This budget hotel is located in the business and shopping district within walking distance of the famous shopping complexes and Gold souk. It also contains several restaurants in the lobby that are worth checking out.



The third and last hotel I want to mention is the Nova Hotel located in the shopping district of Al Fahidi Street. It is in close vicinity to the famous Meena Bazaar and Dubai Creek.



These are three option of cheap hotels in Dubai that are worth your time to examine. Just because the Travel Channel always features hotels that cost thousands of dollars per night to stay in, does not mean that that is the only option for the rest of us.
